Shai Carmel is the founder of Shai Carmel & Co. a boutique law firm operating out of offices in Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv. Shai is a graduate of the Tel Aviv University Law Faculty and was admitted to the Israeli Bar in 1984. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Law School Negotiations Work Shop (2004). 

Shai Carmel & Co. was founded in 1991. The firm specializes in property, corporate, commercial, international debt collections, and civil matters with a strong emphasis on the representation in Israel of foreign investors, new immigrants, and international parties doing business in Israel.

A large scope of the firm's work involves property and real estate transactions of all kinds, tax, trusts, Wills, estate planning, and probate matters – all involving Israel. Part and parcel of the firm's services involves dealing with and opening trust accounts for its clients in Israel to service their transactions including advising on and dealing with Israeli banking compliance regulations which, in today's world, are an inseparable part of any investment transaction or purchase of real estate. 

The firm believes in providing high-quality legal services combining an advanced, international, modern, and dynamic approach, catering to clients' requirements while at the same time building and maintaining a strong and close personal relationship with its clients.   

Shai is bilingual (Hebrew and English) and also speaks French.
